How to Lose $12.395B in 4 Years or the Story of Lycos.com
Bwahahahah… Hey, at least wooba.com has not lost $12B in value the past 5 years. Ya know, I’d be willing to bet the South Koreans can do something with this company. At least not lose $12B. Did I mention that’s $12,000,000,000 dollars? Like not pesos or dinar or whatever? Dollars! Now, when are we gonna get that 30Mbps fiber Internet connection like they have over there in South Korea?

A Korean Internet company is buying Lycos Inc. and its network of Web sites for $105 million.
Terra Networks, based in Madrid and part of telecommunications company Telefónica SA, had bought Lycos in 2000 for $12.5 billion, calling the combined company Terra Lycos.
