Producers may be one step closer to casting their Clark Kent for the new “Superman” movie, according to fan site Superman-V. Director Bryan Singer (“X-Men”) has reportedly offered the role (along with a multi-film deal) to a well-known television Clark Kent. Apparently, the actor has a few weeks to decide if he will don the tights and cape.

Tom Welling (TV’s “Smallville,” “Cheaper by the Dozen”) is the actor with the offer. Superman-V says that their source doubts he will accept the offer because he has been reluctant to play Superman in the past.
