Windows Media Player 10 Released
Looks like the latest Windows Media Player is out. From Adrian’s Rojak Pot, the review of it looks to be good so far. Worth a shot, and yes, it’s free! It’s nice that they actually let you download the executable, so you don’t have to go through WindowsUpdate to get it. It’s only for Windows XP systems, so you 2k users are outta luck! It definitely looks like they are positioning this baby to go directly against Apple’s iTunes, with the automatic MP3 cataloging and jukebox features. The Microsoft Music Store is also open for business. You’d think they woulda bought or sued to get MSNmusic.com as well.

Monitor Changes to Your Digital Media Collection Automatically
You can have the Player check for new, deleted, renamed, or moved digital media files in the folders that you specify in the Monitor Folders dialog box. The Player automatically updates the library to reflect the changes.
